| LINDA FARRIS, RN, MSN, FNP-BC Linda received her Bachelor's Degree in Nursing at California State University, Fresno in 1989 and later completed her Master's in Nursing as a Family Nurse Practitioner at Arkansas State University (ASU) in 1998. Linda has worked in various states & sectors of health care (private, federal, state). Subsequently she comes to us with experience in multiple specialties as well as management and instructor skills. She began working for IPC 1/2/2009 after she moved to Arizona (AZ) from Arkansas (AR) where she worked as an Advanced Nurse Practioner (APN) at NEA Clinics in Jonesboro for 4 years. Previous to that she was the Director at the ASU Student Health Center for 5 years. During her years in AR, she was President of Northeast Arkansas Nurse Practitioner Association and was a SANE (sexual assault nurse examiner) on call to the local emergency rooms. Linda completed her Master's work on Complimentary Alternative Approaches in Medicine. Over the year, Ms. Farris has been the recipient of numerous awards with recognition for her work including, a nomination for Nurse of the Year in 2003, and Excellence in Nursing Award in 2000. She has maintained professional membership with the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners national organization and is certified nationally with the American Nurses Credentialing Academy. She has maintained her AZ license to practice with the State Board of Nursing (SBON) and holds prescriptive certification with the SBON including a DEA license. Two of Linda's mottos as a provider is 'Putting the Patient/Client 1st at all times' & 'Keep the Patient/Client in the Center'. Linda demonstrates to be highly passionate about serving others & helping them to a higher level health care and overall wellness. |
